Ask Not How Your Fans and Followers Can Awesomize You…Ask How You Can Awesomize Them!

As a serial entrepreneur, I’ve learned that we can have the most incredible ideas, but if we fail to come up with the right messaging our startup could end up nowhere. Typically, a startup hires a marketing communications person or even a PR agency to help them with that task. But, what would you do if you don’t have the funding to afford one? Well, do what I recently did: Put your heads together with other successful entrepreneurs to learn from their experiences – and surround your self with smart, creative people – if they are beautiful, that’s even double jackpot!

Back in March, Craig Newmark, the founder of Craigslist and craigconnects helped me fine tune the message for  “Your First Stop Before Any Online Connection”.

Just yesterday,  another good friend, MariaTiratsuyan, the founder of  learn4change, a DC based non-profit organization  dedicated to making a real, lasting impact on the lives of disadvantaged children, posted an inspirational wall status on Facebook (see below)  which  galvanized me to formulate my own motto.  Also a special thanks to a tip from President Kennedy.

Since, I posted this all over the social media yesterday, traffic has doubled.

“Ask no how your fans and followers can awesomize you…ask how you can awesomize them

Here is how it started:

I certainly know whose cause to write my first $100k check  once we hit our $1B valuation 🙂

All that being said, those of you love me more than yourself, feel free to post this on your wall:
