How To Get Your App Stands out – Get them Awesomized First!

If you are an app maker, I am sure you have already learned that App Store is such a competitive environment. You’ve developed an iPhone, iPad, or Android application. You’ve got it up on the App Store next to  hundreds of thousands of other apps which they are also begging for attention. You built it unique, your tweeted it, you blogged about it, but not much luck with getting the word out yet. How do you make sure yours stands out?

Leverage the power of your happy users to awesomize them on to get new users!

Here is how it works:

–          Create a personal page on the site.  You’ll  notice your page aggregates all of your other social media channels your are member of including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.
–          Then create a page for your company and your app using the links on their navigational bar on top or via the links on the left hand side of your personal page.
–          Get your happy users to awesomize them (rate them)

The more content and videos you add to your personal, company, and app pages on, the more they will be found by major search engines indexing them including google, Yahoo, etc. Make sure you also tag the pages well.

Your pages are open to the public. Translation: They are search engine friendly and awesome for SEO. The more and better rating they receive, the higher probability they will be found on Google search.

Here are two samples. Click on the links on the left hand side of the page to see how their app pages are connected to their company and personal pages:

Put your app on the site and let us know what you think.
