Starting with  Mark who I am sure you all know him by now, the co-founder of Facebook.

Zuckerberg and his super-geek-to-billionaire story is the basis of the hit movie The Social Network. “Young people are just smarter,” he told a Stanford University audience in 2007. He started Facebook from his Harvard dorm in 2004 as a sophomore. Now he’s a 26-year-old philanthropist, recently donating $100 million to the Newark, N.J., school district. Read more of this post

“SNL” Spoofs Facebook’s CEO

If you missed SNL this weekend,  the program dedicated two sketches to Facebook — one a fake commercial for a filter to keep your mom from seeing the crazy things you do on Facebook, and the other a “Weekend Update” segment with Andy Samberg portraying founder and CEO.

Facebook on Big Screen “The Social Network”


Facebook must be a much better hit than Google that Hollywood is making a movie about it called “The Social Network”. I just saw the preview in the Georgetown Movie theater last night. The trailer consists of fast-typed Facebook

From the preview, it looks like this movie is going to give tech movies like Pirates of Silicon Valley and Anti-trust a bad name I think.

The film written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by David Fincher that retells the origins of Facebook. Buzz for the movie has been steadily building up for the last month as the studio released teaser trailer filled with dramatic music and punchy dialog — but no footage showing the actors. This trailer brings the goods, and the movie is looking pretty damn good. Read more of this post

Two Awesome Videos on the Old Media and the Entrepreneurs


Terence Kawaja, the investment banker with GCA Savvian has certainly a lot of time on his hands. Check out these two funny and so true video made by him – one on death of the old media called Mad Avenue Blues to the tune of American Pie, and the second one on us, the entrepreneurs called Tech Star.
